چکیده

ابن‌ سینا در دو رساله از رساله‌های کتاب شفاء به گزارش و توصیف نظریة مثُل روی آورده و سپس به نقد آن می‌پردازد: مورد نخست فصل دهم از مقالة دوم در رسالة برهان از کتاب شفاء است و مورد بعدی فصل دوم از مقالة هفتم در رسالة الهیّات شفاء. در اینجا می‌کوشیم تا با ارائة گزارش و تحلیل مطالب ابن ‌سینا، تا حدّ ممکن جنبه‌های گوناگون برداشت‌‌ وی را در بارة مسألة مُثل ترسیم و تبیین کنیم؛ در بررسی گزارش ابن ‌سینا و تحلیل آن باید به اصطلاح‌ها و عبارت‌های خود وی پای‌بند باشیم تا بتوانیم هر چه بیشتر به جنبه‌های گوناگون برادشت ابن‌ سینا نزدیک شویم. بررسی نقدهای ابن ‌سینا بر نظریة مُثل مجال دیگری می‌طلبد و در اینجا تنها به تبیین توصیف و برداشت وی از این نظریه بسنده خواهد شد. در پژوهش حاضر به مواردی مانند میزان آشنائی ابن ‌سینا با مسألة مُثل، چگونگی برداشت ابن ‌سینا از حقیقت مُثل، کارکرد فلسفی نظریة مُثل در نگاه وی خواهیم پرداخت. شایان ذکر است که در گزارش‌های ابن‌سینا هم با توصیف مثُل به عنوان امر کلّی و جدا از امور جزئی روبرو خواهیم شد و هم با بیان اجمالی از سه دلیل که افلاطون و افلاطونیان برای اثبات وجود مثُل به آنها متوسل می‌شوند: دلیل از راه علوم و دانش‌ها، دلیل از راه واحد فوق کثیر و دلیل از راه تفکر به چیزی بویژه چیز نابود شده.

An Analysis of Avicenna's Report of Plato's Ideas in the Kitab Al-Shifa (the Healing)

چکیده [English]

Avicenna in two parts of the Kitab Al-Shifa (کتاب الشفاء) or The Book of Healing reports the theory of Platonic Ideas or Forms: first report is in the chapter 10 from the second book in the Demonstration Treatise (رسالة البرهان) and second report is in the chapter 2 from the seventh book in the Theology Treatise (رسالة الالهیّات). Both reports have explanations of the theory of Platonic Ideas and then a critic of the theory. Here we will discuss only Avicenna's description and explanations of the theory of Ideas; what is Avicenna's understanding from Plato's Ideas? At the present essay it is necessary to investigate the range of familiarity that Avicenna has with Platonic Ideas, Aristotle's role in this familiarity and the philosophical functions of the Ideas in Avicenna's understanding and identification of them. First of all, Avicenna thinks that Platonic Ideas are universals and on this description he erects other descriptions of their truth. It is vital to know that Avicenna's familiarity with Platonic Forms is essentially mediate; that's by way of Aristotle's works including both descriptions and criticisms of those forms. Review and analysis of Avicenna's texts brings us to the three arguments of Platonists for the existence of Ideas: the argument from the sciences, the one over many argument and the object of thought argument.
