صرف‌الوجود و مسئله‌ زبان نمادین (بررسی نظریّه‌ نمادگرایی تیلیش)

چکیده

پل تیلیش یکی از تأثیرگذارترین فیلسوفان و الاهی‌دانان مسیحی در قرن بیستم است. او نظریّه‌ی جدیدی را در باب سخن گفتن از خدا طرح کرده است که امروزه به نظریّه‌ی نمادگرایی مشهور است. او در این نظریّه نشان می‌دهد که نمی‌توان به نحو حقیقی در باب خدا سخن گفت و زبان دین، زبان نمادهاست. تیلیش نظریّه‌ی نمادگرایی خود را بر مبنای پیش‌فرض‌های هستی‌شناختی‌اش مبتنی می‌کند. بنابر مبنای هستی‌شناختی او هرچند خدا به عنوان صرف‌الوجود و وجود متعال از انسان متمایز است؛ امّا انسان در هستی با خدا سهیم است و از همین روست که انسان در عین بیگانگی با خداوند یگانه است. لازمه‌ی چنین پیش‌فرضی بهره‌گیری از نمادهای دینی در سخن گفتن از خداست. تیلیش برای پیش‌برد این دیدگاه خود ابتدا ویژگی‌های نمادها را نشان می‌دهد و سپس نمادهای دینی را تعریف و مراتب آن‌ها را بیان می‌کند. او در پایان نشان می‌دهد که نمادهای دینی از ویژگی دوگانه‌ای بهره‌مند هستند که همزمان دو ساحت متفاوت را در مقابل ما می‌گشایند؛ زیرا با تمسّک به این نمادها از یک سو می‌توان خدا را وجود متعال و به کلّی دیگر معرّفی کرد و از سوی دیگر می‌توان با او رابطه‌ی وجودی و شخصی برقرار نمود.

چکیده [English]

Paul Tillich is one of the most influential Christian philosophers and theologians in the twentieth century. His new theory about speaking of God is known as the theory of symbolism. He shows in this theory that we cannot speak of God literally because religious language is the language of symbols. Tillich established his symbolism theory on his ontological assumptions. According to them, although God as a being-itself and transcendent being is different from any human, but the human participates in existence with God. This assumption requires using of religious symbols in speaking of God. For assert this view, Tillich shows at the first the properties of symbols and then defines the religious symbols. Finally he argues that religious symbols have two features that face us with two different aspects, because with using these symbols we can introduce Gad as being itself and the wholly other on the one hand and we can contact with him personally on the other hand.
