Abstract

Objective: The present study examines philosophical and practical reflections on the role of artificial intelligence in educating contemporary humans to be able to deduce the educational principles of this article in the Frankena method and those Involved in the education system should play an effective role in the development of smart technologies by using these implications and setting them as a model for their actions.

Methods: This research was conducted using a reconstructed form of Frankena practical inference model. For this purpose, first the philosophical foundations (anthropology, epistemology, and value theory) of artificial intelligence were explained, then, using philosophical Chinese analogy, educational principles were extracted in the Frankena method.

Results: The principles extracted are: Adherence to ethics, Content flexibility, Systemic and holistic thinking, Experiential learning, Social justice, Critical thinking, Educator empowerment, Personalization of learning, Agency.

Conclusions: The findings show that these principles can be an effective guide for the development and application of AI in the field of education. These principles also emphasize the importance of cultivating responsible human and require special attention in the implementation and design of AI-based educational strategies. These findings provide a suitable platform for developing responsible and ethical educational policies and programs in the smart age.
